Sr. Logistics Manager
Trystar
Trystar designs and manufactures innovative power distribution equipment for critical applications.
Lead logistics, freight, warehousing and supply chain systems across multiple sites
Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, distribution, storage optimization, and warehouse safety initiatives.
Manage and enhance ERP (Epicor preferred), WMS, and TMS systems to ensure accurate logistics planning, visibility, and execution of supply chain activities.
Lead transportation management (domestic and international freight, carrier selection, routing, rate negotiations, and compliance) to achieve cost and service goals.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for freight cost, on-time delivery, warehouse efficiency, warehouse capacity utilization and inventory accuracy.
Implement Lean/Continuous Improvement projects across warehouse and logistics operations to increase efficiency and reliability.
Partner with sourcing, operations, IT, and finance to deliver logistics solutions that support growth and innovation plans.
Provide leadership and direct contributions to manufacturing sites and supply chain teams, with a focus on logistics, warehousing, and freight execution.

Proven expertise with ERP, WMS, and TMS systems (Epicor and related platforms preferred).
Proficiency in data analytics (PowerBI, Excel, etc.) to drive insight-based decisions.
Hands-on experience leading large-scale warehouse automation or digital transformation projects.
Expertise in cost-to-serve analysis and driving continuous freight and warehousing cost optimization.
Strong track record working with 3PLs (third-party logistics providers) and optimizing outsourced logistics partnerships.
B.S. or M.S. in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business (MBA preferred).
Strong business acumen with deep understanding of logistics cost drivers, freight negotiations, and warehouse optimization.
Ability to integrate logistics systems (ERP, WMS, TMS) with broader enterprise platforms for improved visibility and performance.
Proven ability to design and implement distribution network strategies to support high growth environments.
Advanced certification such as APICS, CPIM, CLTD, or Six Sigma a plus.
Knowledge of trade compliance regulations, documentation requirements, and tariff management.
7–10 years of progressive leadership in logistics, freight, warehousing, and distribution in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Experience managing global logistics operations, including import/export and customs compliance.
Track record of leading high-impact improvement initiatives across warehouse and transportation networks.
