Lead the North Texas Water practice as both a regional leader and technical expert in water treatment or water/wastewater infrastructure.
Provide technical expertise for proposals, client presentations, and industry events to strengthen Tetra Tech’s market presence.
Support recruitment and retention of top technical talent.
Manage, mentor, and develop project managers and technical staff to build a high-performing, collaborative team.

Full-time, exempt position based in Plano or Dallas, TX.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Proven track record in client development, proposal leadership, and delivery of profitable projects.
Established relationships with North Texas municipal or utility clients.
Demonstrated experience leading large, complex projects as a technical expert and project manager.
15+ years of progressive experience in water/wastewater engineering, including technical depth in water treatment (membranes, PFAS, desalination, advanced treatment) or related infrastructure.
Ability to use standard office technology and participate in meetings, presentations, and occasional field reviews.
Experience managing regional operations or business units.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and perform occasional site walks on uneven terrain.
Occasional exposure to outdoor weather, construction sites, or treatment facilities.
Ability to work in both office and field settings as project needs require.
Ability to balance technical work with regional leadership and business development responsibilities.
Master’s degree in a related engineering discipline.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or a related engineering field.
Moderate noise levels with required use of PPE in certain field or plant settings.
Experience mentoring staff and leading multidisciplinary teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience delivering technical and business presentations.
