The Student Intern position with our Construction Materials Testing team places you in the geotechnical laboratory, where you will conduct a variety of tests on soils, asphalt, aggregates, and concrete. The role provides insight into how testing protocols influence project outcomes and includes assisting project managers in preparing geotechnical and construction materials testing reports. Field work opportunities may involve material testing, construction observation, and inspections under diverse terrain and weather conditions.
We are seeking 1‑2 interns for the summer in our La Vista office. Candidates should be pursuing a degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline, possess strong communication and teamwork skills, and demonstrate detail‑oriented, safety‑focused work habits. A valid driver’s license, ability to lift at least 50 lb, and flexibility to work overtime during peak project periods are required.
