Senior Consents Officers obtain specialist technical consents, provide legal advice, and manage the consenting process from draft to issue. They coordinate communication with clients, contractors, landowners, farmers and statutory authorities, ensuring land access, condition verification and reinstatement agreements are in place. The role also involves leading a team of consenting officers, maintaining accurate records, reporting on KPIs, and complying with all relevant regulations.
The successful candidate must hold a full UK driving licence and possess strong knowledge of agriculture and rural affairs. They should demonstrate excellent customer service, commercial acumen, and a willingness to innovate and challenge the norm. Strong communication skills, self‑motivation and organisational ability are essential.
