- Lead and participate in market analyses for local and worldwide iron ore projects
- Perform due diligence audits and manage preliminary economic, prefeasibility and feasibility studies within multidisciplinary project teams
- Take on various interdisciplinary technical challenges to ensure factory acceptance tests and the implementation of optimization solutions for processes are performed on time, safely and cost effectively
- Serve as a discipline lead for studies and supervise the work of junior and intermediate engineers
- Promote BBA expertise in the iron ore processing industry
- Design and simulate mineralogical processes
- Examine and approve mass balances, process design criteria, PFDs, P&IDs, layouts and technical specifications
- Provide metallurgical expertise for all aspects of projects and studies, including EPCM projects
- Review, analyze or develop PFDs, P&IDs, technical specifications and evaluations, material land energy balances and process design and operating parameters
- Lead metallurgical tests and guide clients in developing their projects
- Liaise with clients on technical matters and professionally present reports, publications and briefings
- Assess, select and commission new technology to improve the sustainability, efficiency and profitability of client operations
- Prepare, review and approve professional qualifications, expressions of interest as well as proposals and service offerings

- Ability to travel frequently across Canada and abroad (> 25 %)
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree in mineral processing, metallurgy, chemical engineering or mining
- Strong track record of successfully completing projects in the mining and metals industry
- Canadian Professional engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligible to
- Qualified person as per CIM standards
- At least 15 years of experience in mineral processing operations
- Advanced level of French and English to collaborate effectively with BBA offices and/or clients outside Québec. The frequency of English use may range from occasional to daily, depending on ongoing projects
