We're looking for a proactive and detail orientated individual to join our team as a Quality Advisor. This entry-level role is perfect for recent university graduates or those early in their career. You'll support the Project Manager and team in delivering asphalt surfacing projects, with a focus on learning and applying Quality Management processes. You'll help ensure project work meets client specifications and assist in identifying any non-conformances. Based in Maddington, the role offers a mix of on-site experience and office based duties, giving you a well-rounded start in the industry. What you'll bring

  • Able to implement controls to ensure the achievement of quality standards.
  • Thoroughness and attention to detail in the application of correct procedures and practices.
  • Diploma level qualification (or above) in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience in delivery of surfacing or civil projects, including exposure to best practice quality management procedures ideal but not essential.
  • Ability to identify hazards and take corrective action to ensure that the organisation meets legislative requirements and provides a safe working environment for its employees.
  • Strong safety focus with demonstrated evidence of actively promoting and sustaining a Zero harm environment.
  • Able to interpret documentation and ensure all Downer obligations are fulfilled.
