Tasks

-Mentor junior staff and support their professional growth within a collaborative team environment. -Apply knowledge of Western Australia’s market and Water Corporation design standards; contribute to the development of new mechanical design standards and specifications. -Tackle technically complex projects and act as a goto technical resource for the wider team. -Deliver advanced mechanical engineering designs across drawings, reports, presentations, and regulatory submissions with minimal supervision. -Lead coordination meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors to align project specifications and ensure smooth delivery.

What You Bring

-Strong technical expertise and ability to produce accurate design documentation. -Proven experience in time management and organisational skills including the ability to manage resources and delegate tasks effectively. -Minimum 8 years working experience in consulting field and/or recognised as a Principal Engineer in your current role. -Professional Memberships -In depth knowledge of the Water Corp design standards, previous project examples would be favourable -Experience working in the local Western Australia market would be an advantage -Bring your Chartered Engineer (CPEng) credentials to lead technically complex projects and mentor junior engineers. -Strong written and verbal communication skills. -A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with an emphasis in Mechanical Engineering.
