Warehouse Assistant

Description

• Scan materials, enter data into inventory systems, and complete bin transfers as required.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and company guidelines.
• Assist with maintaining accurate stock levels through cycle counts and inventory updates.
• Oversee warehouse equipment maintenance, shipping coordination, and tracking.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely (as assigned).
• Receive and ship materials accurately and efficiently.
• Label, stage, and organize inventory for proper storage and distribution.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse with clear walkways and properly organized storage areas.
• Assist with shelving installation and reconfiguration when needed.
• Take on additional warehouse or operational tasks as needed to support team success.
• Assist with tracking company vehicle maintenance, service schedules, and documentation.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices.
• Passing a pre-employment drug screen, including marijuana testing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Clear communication skills and a professional, dependable work ethic.
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
• Strong computer skills with experience in inventory systems, scanning tools, and data entry.
• Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain certification).
• Passing a pre-employment physical (lifting up to 75 lbs, bending, kneeling, pulling, squatting).
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean 5-year driving record.
