The role involves regular interaction with landowners, agencies, and internal teams, supporting the preparation of property profiles, site maps, ownership summaries, and valuation data. Interns will help organize due‑diligence documents, conduct market research, and coordinate with surveyors, appraisers, attorneys, and government officials while maintaining accurate records in internal databases.
Work is performed in a hybrid office‑field setting; field visits may require walking on uneven terrain and occasional travel in inclement weather. The position demands occasional lifting of items under 25 lb and occasional handling of items up to 30 lb, as well as extended periods of sitting, standing, and computer use.
The part‑time Land Intern position offers a local college student studying real‑estate development, infrastructure, or public‑sector projects a hands‑on entry into land acquisition. Interns will assist in identifying, evaluating, and securing real‑property interests for development across California and Nevada, gaining exposure to real‑estate transactions, feasibility studies, due diligence, and entitlement processes.
