The specialist will assist in developing, implementing, and administering Daikin’s environmental, health, and safety programs, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal requirements while fostering a strong safety culture across the site.
- Conduct safety and environmental inspections and audits.
- Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and training.
- Maintain chemical management documentation and equipment approvals.
- Monitor EHS data, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare EHS reports and presentations.
- Lead EHS committees and drive continuous improvement.
- Support EMS (ISO 14001) and SMS (ISO 45001) document control.
- Deliver training on safety policies and best practices.
- Assist in new employee orientation and incident investigations.
- Collect samples for testing (e.g., storm water, chemicals).
- Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Provide technical EHS support and lead site‑specific projects.
- Promote Daikin’s zero‑incident, zero‑emission goals.
