Developing and building a commissioning team to deliver projects in target areas.
Lead and train new hires on site until such time as team members are competent to work autonomously.
Communication to all electrical stakeholders.
Planning and management of vendor FAT/SAT with possible attendance if necessary.
Attend and provide input to daily/weekly project meetings, internally, vendor and client.
Lead and manage a team of HV commissioners working on the transmission and distribution grid in Ireland.
Working with the senior management to develop new business lines in target markets.
Act as the technical lead for commissioning inquiries for ongoing projects
Working with our in-house Health and Safety Officer and Management team to ensure the ongoing updating of our HV Safety Rules in line with industry standards and statutory requirements.
Management of project programme including milestone and deadline management.
Managing the delivery, review, and compliance of project documentation to achieve the necessary sign off.
Identifying training requirements for the team members and arranging training courses and modules to suit. May include delivery of in-house training courses.
Monitoring and managing delivery of scope.
Setting work scope for team members.
As the HV Commissioning Manager, you will lead the commissioning of high voltage electrical infrastructure projects across Ireland.You’ll be responsible for ensuring safe, timely, and compliant energisation of HV systems, working closely with engineering, safety, and delivery teams. He will have to be an approved commissioner with ESB.
Managing, delivery, and obtaining approval on relevant project documents such as Test Protocols, Compliance statements etc.
