  • Completing analysis of data reduction, computations, and mapping.
  • Provide field crews with stakeout calculations for civil, heavy highway & building projects.
  • Wear personal protective safety gear.
  • Perform Site Localizations on an as-needed basis.
  • Sit for extended periods of time.
  • Develop 3D paving models for use with Topcon RDMC software.
  • Develop Stringless Curb alignments for use in Machine Control Systems.
  • Develop 3D surface models, and alignments for use in machine control systems (Trimble, Topcon, Leica, etc.)
  • Maintaining quality of data in the office; independently perform accurate simple calculation as needed to complete surveys.
  • Preparation of as-built drawings.
  • Drive a passenger vehicle.
  • Build client relationships.
  • Continually advance knowledge with upgrades in technology, equipment, and software.

  • Move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
  • Proficiency with the Trimble family of surveying equipment is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, self-starter with the ability to work in a team environment and independently.
  • Maintain a current driver's license in good standing and able to operate company owned vehicles.
  • Use a computer and keyboard.
  • Ability to interpret design and construction plans.
  • Ability to operate advanced survey technology including GPS, Robotic Total Stations, digital and differential levels, UAV, high-definition scanners, and data collections devices a plus
  • Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, Carlson, Revit and Inroads software is a plus.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Minimum two years' experience with a multitude of CAD platforms.
  • Experience as a Survey Crew Chief on construction projects a plus.
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend construction plan documents.
  • Terrestrial and Mobile Laser scan extraction.
