Responsible for coaching project-level support efforts that include:
Provides coaching and development to prefabrication team members to advance knowledge within a specific area of prefabrication
Assesses and manages quality of work produced by team.
Provides feedback and coaching to support individual employee performance, learning and career development.
Collaborates with prefabrication management and leadership on contribution of project specific prefabrication execution processes that serve as a guide for teams to lead or assist.
Assists in development of prefab lessons learned and best practices. This includes refining a comprehensive catalogue of implementation guides.
Participates in a range of talent management activities, which may include responsibilities such as evaluating and managing performance, providing formal and informal feedback, recruiting and staffing, employee learning and development, addressing employee relations risks and issues, etc.
Creates, monitors and manages scheduling; directs assignments and goal setting for optimal productivity and resource management.
Collaboration with project teams during pursuit, preconstruction and construction phases to establish parameters for project-specific prefabrication strategies, and develop execution plans for successful delivery of prefabrication
Removes obstacles and solves problems and addresses escalated issues from team members to optimize team performance and productivity.
Capturing necessary metric tracking for identified prefabrication plans
Assists in development of processes and resources that support a comprehensive internal (eg. differentiation, labor and profitability) and external (eg. cost, schedule, safety, quality) metric-driven business case for prefabrication advantages over traditional methods.
Supporting project teams as subject matter expert for specific client projects
Serves as a change agent by supporting corporate and work program change initiatives. Models and communicates positive approaches to adapting to change.
Communicates and explains goals and encourages and motivates team performance and productivity in alignment with broader work program and corporate goals and plans. Leads and facilitates effective team meetings. Recognizes individual and team accomplishments.
May support multiple projects at the same time as it relates to prefabrication.
Partners with off-site self perform leadership to guide and develop JE Dunn’s Design for Manufacture & Digital Fabrication capabilities.
Responsible for learning and understanding client specific prefabrication program on projects. This will include working with JE Dunn prefabrication program lead as well as other project prefabrication leads from other companies within program.

Knowledge of the means and methods of manufacturing processes
Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally

Has a passion for integrating prefabrication and manufacturing processes into commercial construction
Ability to apply Lean process and philosophy
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design AP (Accredited Professional) (Preferred)
Autonomy & Decision Making: Makes decisions within defined limits of authority and consults supervisor on other decisions.
Knowledge of project processes and how each supports the successful completion of a project
Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs
Knowledge of BIM quality procedures, overall processes and application in the AEC industry
May require extensive periods of travel
