Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to ensure accurate installations and configurations.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, ensuring systems are operational and meet safety requirements.
This role may occasionally require working in high, precarious places; near fumes or airborne particles; and handling toxic or caustic chemicals. There is also a risk of electrical shock and vibration in certain situations.
Promote and enforce a culture of safety on the job site, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
Supervise and assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, outlets, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
Maintain an inventory of electrical materials and tools, ordering supplies as necessary to complete tasks on schedule.
Ensure all electrical work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical regulations.
Work closely with the General Foreman, Electrical Superintendent, and project managers to optimize workflow and ensure project milestones are met.
Perform inspections and testing of electrical systems to verify functionality and safety compliance.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth and timely project execution.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and compliance with company safety standards.
Document progress, inspections, material usage, and testing results for accurate reporting.
Oversee and manage electrical crews on commercial, industrial, and residential projects, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.

5+ years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician, with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
