Travel on foot across uneven, rugged, or obstructed terrain, sometimes in areas inaccessible by vehicle.

Ability to lift and carry between 35-75 lbs. of equipment or samples over distances up to 75 feet.

This position requires occasional travel, approximately 10% to 20% of the time, to support business
Experience with CRM platforms and business development reporting tools
Ability to stand, walk, drive, and operate lab and field equipment for extended periods.
Proven track record of building client relationships and securing contracts with public agencies, private sector clients, or utility/infrastructure owners.
This position operates in a hybrid work environment, requiring flexibility to work effectively from both a professional office and work site setting.
10+ years of progressive business development experience, sales, or growth leadership roles, ideally within engineering, construction, or industrial services.
Ability to travel regularly to client sites, industry events, and company offices across the region or country.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
Regular in-person communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders is required.
Exposure to varying weather conditions including heat, cold, humidity, rain, or sun.
Ability to bend, twist, reach, stoop, kneel, climb, and balance as needed during both lab and fieldwork.
Deep understanding of the sales cycle for professional services, including pre-positioning, capture planning, and proposal development
