Serve as a sellerdoer and be an essential part of a project team Enhance Stantec’s ability to win work during all aspects of a project’s lifecycle from planning, programming, design, construction documentation, contract administration through to project closeout.

Partner with Business Center leadership and the entire principal team to grow the Business Center through award winning design and the growth of all staff in the Business Center.
Responsible for projects, functions, and operational elements for their scope. Demonstrate broad leadership for professional excellence and project execution that drives client satisfaction. Collaborates across the business to drive innovation, synergies, partnerships, and knowledge sharing.
Work with marketing team to enrich our marketing materials and exposure, inclusive of searching out awards opportunities and crafting submission entries.
Work with Business Center leadership to develop an annual business plan for the Chicago Workplace market that leverages regional and national resources and leadership.
Identify and following through on new business develop opportunities.
Contribute towards the development of goals, strategies, and client focused culture of the practice.
Act as company representative at client and industry functions, conferences, and seminars.
Effectively lead, challenge, and inspire staff to work together cohesively as a team.
Consistently achieve annual sales & revenue targets for your area of practice, through client management, market development, pursuit strategies, and/or technical expertise. Strong industry connections including potential clients, colleagues, consultants, and strategic partners.
Collaborate on the creation of proposal submissions. Solicit and manage input from others to create an integrated solution proposal.
Deliver creative, high quality, fiscally responsible project solutions based on best practices and meeting client goals.
Identify and develop existing and future leadership candidates and career development opportunities for staff within the Workplace Business Line. Recruit key hires as needed.
Liaise with Stantec Interior Design Groups across region/sector and opportunities.

Has an exceptional resume of work and specialized expertise that supports prepositioning for and winning work. Serve as client or technical advisor. Serve as a regional SME or across multiple technical areas.
Minimum of 15 years of experience including business development responsibilities is required.
LEED Green Associate or LEED AP is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Interior Design or related field is required.
Licensed Interior Designer or Architect is required.
