The Production Operator II ensures safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment to meet production, quality and safety goals. This role supports daily manufacturing activities, maintains accurate documentation, and fosters a collaborative, team‑oriented environment. Operators help guarantee that products meet HB Fuller’s quality standards and customer expectations.
- Operate and monitor production equipment according to established procedures and work instructions.
- Perform routine quality checks and accurately document results.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate concerns as appropriate.
- Complete production records, documentation, and system entries in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist with material handling, staging, and basic inventory control activities.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to team and site goals.

- At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

- Experience operating automated manufacturing or chemical processing equipment (preferred).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles (preferred).
- Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting capabilities (preferred).
- Forklift certification (preferred).
