In this position you will ensure equipment is clean, functional, safe, and ready for rental, collaborating closely with operations and rental teams while maintaining an organized warehouse environment.
- Clean, inspect, and prepare lighting and production equipment for rental
- Process equipment according to manufacturer safety specifications
- Perform basic repairs on lighting units and accessories using hand tools
- Identify equipment misuse and report concerns to the Triage Supervisor
- Complete Loss & Damage forms for review and pricing
- Route electronic repair requests to the Electronics Technician
- Assist other internal departments as needed
- Organize warehouse shelving and maintain a neat, accessible workspace
- Identify and reallocate sub‑rental equipment to the correct area
- Operate warehouse machinery (forklift, order picker, pallet jack) after training
- Follow all WCB and Sunbelt safety policies

The Film & TV division is expanding and seeks a detail‑oriented Equipment Technician to support lighting and production gear for film sets. This role offers hands‑on work in a fast‑paced environment and provides a pathway to develop expertise with professional‑grade film equipment.
Candidates should be able to multitask, communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, work under pressure, and lift up to 50 lb. Prior knowledge of film equipment and experience with rental software are advantageous but not required.
- Knowledge of film industry equipment (asset, not required)
- Experience with rental software (helpful)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
