The Chicago Airfield Discipline Leader will serve as the engineering discipline head on large, complex, multidisciplinary airport projects. This role involves directing and mentoring discipline associates and project managers, overseeing engineering reports, plans, specifications, and design documentation, and maintaining active client contact to support business development.

Required qualifications include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering (or a comparable ABET‑accredited field), at least 20 years of overall experience with 5+ years in civil design of medium or large hub airports, and proven project‑management and team‑leadership experience.
Preferred qualifications encompass experience mentoring engineering staff, working on General Engineering Consultant contracts, demonstrated marketing and business‑development abilities, and technical proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Candidates who exhibit a commitment to quality management and associate development are especially valued.
