The Project Controls Manager, T&D acts as a strategic partner in schedule management, cost control, and the adoption of project management best practices. In addition to creating and maintaining project schedules, the manager provides oversight, mentorship, and training to subsidiaries on scheduling and controls.
The role is responsible for developing enterprise‑wide project controls and scheduling frameworks, leading schedule creation and critical path analysis, and delivering training on schedule management tools. It also includes performing schedule audits, providing recovery strategies, standardizing cost tracking and change control processes, mentoring teams, and ensuring accurate documentation and reporting of project performance.
- Develop and implement enterprise-wide project controls and scheduling frameworks for T&D projects.
- Create, update, and maintain detailed schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, ensuring integration with cost and resource plans.
- Lead schedule development, logic sequencing, resource loading, and critical path analysis for project teams.
- Design and deliver training programs on schedule management tools for managers, superintendents, and field leaders.
- Conduct periodic schedule audits and provide recovery strategies for identified delays or risks.
- Standardize cost tracking, forecasting, and change control processes across projects.
- Mentor project teams on scheduling and controls best practices and conduct post‑project reviews.
- Collaborate with field and office teams to ensure accurate documentation and reporting of project performance.

Candidates should have at least seven years of progressive experience in project controls, scheduling, and program management within construction, preferably electrical, and be proficient with Primavera P6, MS Project, and CPM tools. Experience with enterprise platforms such as Procore or JD Edwards, as well as strong cost‑management and communication skills, is required, along with the ability to travel 25–50% to sites.

- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, CPM tools, and strong knowledge of earned value and cost management.
