- Collaborate with the IT to support shared goals.
- Administer and maintain Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Core Infrastructure Administration: Manages Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, and file shares to maintain secure, reliable infrastructure.
- Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and integration projects.

- Support and maintain virtual infrastructure (Nutanix AHV & Hyper-V) and cloud-hosted servers (Azure).

- Virtualization & Backup Management: Ensures availability and resiliency of virtualized environments and backup/recovery systems.
- Maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Represent McGough professionally at company and industry events.
- Cloud & Identity Management: Manages hybrid identity solutions (Entra ID, MFA, conditional access) to maintain secure, seamless user access.
- Change Control & Operational Excellence: Implements changes following ITIL and operational procedures, balancing innovation with risk management.
- Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
- Implement and enforce access controls based on least-privilege principles.
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination: Works closely with support, security, and engineering teams to resolve issues and deliver integrated solutions.
- Proactively identifies and resolves issues before they impact users.
- Ensure systems remain compliant with organizational security policies and latest patches.
- Attention to Detail & Organization – Maintains accurate, thorough documentation of issues, resolutions, and processes; ensures work is completed with precision and consistency.
- Participate in testing, documentation, and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Support and maintain backup and recovery solutions (Rubrik, Azure Backup).
- Participate in Lean events and initiatives to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Hybrid Environment Troubleshooting: Diagnoses and resolves issues across on-prem and cloud systems, ensuring minimal user disruption.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for Azure AD/Microsoft Entra ID and Azure VMs.
- Manage device compliance and endpoint configuration using Microsoft Intune.
- Partner with Help Desk, Network, and IS teams to resolve escalated issues.
- Documentation & Communication: Produces clear technical documentation and communicates effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- 2-4+ years of experience in Networking
- 2-4+ year(s) with Desktop support, ideally in a hybrid environment
- Documentation Quality – Technical procedures are clear, current, and reusable.
- Experience with Azure services including VMs, virtual networks, and Microsoft Entra ID
- Familiarity with endpoint management using Intune and/or SCCM
- Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of equivalent experience in computer science, information technology, or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in Networking
- Nutanix or VMware Certifications & fundamentals related to Nutanix, Hyper-V or VMware
- M365 Administration: Configures and supports Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive to maximize user productivity and collaboration.

- 4+ years of experience supporting IT infrastructure in a hybrid environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration
- Maintains composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations.
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022)
- Adaptability – Demonstrates flexibility in responding to evolving technologies, shifting priorities, and emerging issues while maintaining effectiveness and composure.
