A genuine interest in Transport Planning and relevant post-graduate experience of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Travel Plans and other similar documentation
A practical approach to problem solving and the ability to adapt and work both independently and as part of a team
Private Sector background but have experience of supporting projects that dealt with Local Authority and Public Sector clients
The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff up to a Senior level
Transport modelling and appraisal
Experience of commissioning or supporting appropriate data gathering exercises
A Degree in a Transport Planning related subject (eg Transport Planning, Engineering, Geography, Mathematics, Town Planning, Science) or an equivalent and relevant qualification
High levels of numeracy and the ability to produce clear, concise and logical written and verbal communication
Experience of managing elements of projects, potentially including the delivery of internal projects for their employer
Experience of some industry standard junction assessment or transport modelling software packages
