Description

• Ensure that all issues within the programme are highlighted and understood by Senior Management and giving appropriate planning advice.
• Deliver the necessary reports to allow Senior Managers to direct the project appropriately
• Development of innovative programming and reporting solutions
• Working on large multi-disciplinary rail projects
• Provide and share knowledge of the rail sector.
• Delivering the Period Programme Update and information regarding changes and delays that have impacted the programme on a period by period basis.
• Work on their own initiative, chair Progress Meetings and able to communicate clear and concise data to the Project team and the Client.
• Identifying, analysing and delivering solutions for the client and project team

Requirements

• Extensive experience of using Microsoft Products
• Understanding of multi-disciplinary co-ordination across major infrastructure projects and global design teams.
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to produce Programmes and associated reports.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detailed understanding of Project Controls Techniques including Earned Value Management, Critical Path analysis.
• Understanding of co-ordination across infrastructure projects and global design teams.
• Working knowledge of all PC based Windows environments and Microsoft Office suite
• Competent User of Primavera
• Experience in Primavera and managing teams within a busy environment
• Experienced based skills in managing programmes within major infrastructure projects
• HNC/Degree in Relevant Industry Subject
• Member of APM (Desirable)
• Working knowledge of Primavera and associated Risk Analysis tools
• Robust, Accurate Reporting both internally and externally
