The successful hire will be responsible for conducting comprehensive site investigations of contaminated media across a variety of public, residential, commercial and industrial locations, overseeing subcontractors during field operations, and producing technical reports, workplans and remedial construction documentation. They will also support entry‑level staff development and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and safety standards.
We are hiring an Environmental Engineer, Scientist, or Geologist I for our expanding NYC environmental consulting practice. The role involves leading project and field work such as Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments and preparing Remedial Action Workplans throughout the New York metropolitan area. The ideal candidate is a self‑motivated professional with at least two years of relevant experience, strong interpersonal and writing abilities, and a willingness to supervise and train staff. The position offers a salary starting at $70,000.
Candidates must hold a BS in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or a related discipline, possess a valid driver’s license and be able to travel throughout NYC, Westchester and Long Island. Required qualifications include two or more years of environmental consulting experience, proficiency in Phase I/II assessments, familiarity with NYSDEC regulations, OSHA training, and strong analytical, Microsoft Office and communication skills. Preference is given to those with OSHA 30‑hour construction training.
