- Direct all work performed in the unit or department.
- Make cash sale deposits and follow up on any discrepancies.
- Contact customers regarding past due balances.
- Deposit any incoming checks or forward onto the General Office.
- Issue credits to customers when necessary or make any corrections to customer billing.
- Correspond with customers on billing discrepancies.
- Stay abreast of trends in the industry and particularly with changes in credit law or regulation.

- Mathematical skills
- Prolonged sitting, ability to use computer, adding machine, and telephone experience preferred.
- Occasionally the ability to lift up to 25 pounds needed. Close vision needed (clear vision at 20 inches or less.) May be required to work more than 40 hours per week.
- Effective communication skills
- Research debit memos and unapplied credits.
- Associate's degree or bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting from four-year college or university; or 4+ years previous credit or accounting experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Occasionally standing, walking, use of hands/fingers, reaching with hands/arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching/crawling needed.
- Often sitting, talking/hearing needed.
