The Senior Airport Planner will work on aviation projects across Saudi Arabia, reporting directly to the Aviation Client Director. This role is centered on delivering high‑quality airport planning solutions that meet client needs.
The incumbent will manage and deliver a variety of projects, including airport masterplans, facility planning, capacity and demand analysis, and simulation modelling. They will coordinate planning tasks covering airfield and apron, terminals, satellite buildings, landside transport, ancillary facilities and utilities. In addition, they will act as Project Manager for small to medium‑size projects or workstreams involving airport planning activities. The role also involves mentoring new graduates, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and supporting proposal preparation under the guidance of Bid Principals.
A degree in aeronautical or civil engineering, air transport management, or airport planning is required, with fluency in English and additional languages valued. Candidates should possess relevant aviation industry experience and demonstrate expertise across multiple technical fields such as airfield, operations, terminal, landside, utilities or airspace. The position demands a proactive learning mindset, strong teamwork, methodical problem‑solving, and the ability to organise resources on small projects. Demonstrated capabilities in project and programme management, commercial acumen, and supervising junior staff are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD Civil 3D, AviPlan, Infraworks, Navisworks, Revit and simulation/modelling tools is expected.
