Drafting Designer

Optimizing drawing packages for use internally and by partners and fabricators

Implementing standard drafting procedures and policies.

You can be a part of designing products and technologies for the purpose of improving key performance characteristics of combustion systems, including emissions and operational performance.

Defining best practices utilizing SharePoint and SolidWorks.

Creating customer specific drawing packages that meet site requirements.

Contributing member of our design team working to improve existing technology and also the improvement of our operations.

• SOLIDWORKS Advanced Surfacing
• SOLIDWORKS Advanced Sheet Metal
• 3D Modeling: Ability to create and modify 3D models and assemblies.
• SOLIDWORKS Advanced Drawing Tools
• Knowledge of material properties, manufacturing processes, and assembly.
• Strong communication skills
• Highly skilled in SolidWorks, including Sheet Metal and Weldments
• 5 – 10 years of drafting design experience.
• Motivated, self-starter, problem solver
• SOLIDWORKS Advanced Weldments
• Experience in the burner, boiler, flare, or process heater industry
• Knowledge of Industry Standards: Familiarity with industry standards (ASME, ISO, ASTM)
• Having the following certifications.
• Degree or Certificate in CAD Design, Drafting, Engineering Technology.
• Ability to troubleshoot design issues and optimize models for manufacturability, assembly, or construction.
• Familiarity with API-560 and API-535
• File Management: Ability to manage and organize CAD files and documentation systematically.
• Technical Drawing Standards: Knowledge of dimensioning, tolerancing, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Ability to work independently and on a team

The position will be based in Tulsa, OK. Salary to be commensurate with education and experience.
