As a Commercial Coordinator, you will play a key supporting role in the day-to-day operations of the commercial function across the group. Working closely with the Commercial Director and wider team, you will help coordinate supplier and subcontractor PSL and account management activities, maintain commercial records and data, and support key processes that ensure cost control, compliance, and strong supplier relationships.

  • Liaise with suppliers to gather documentation and resolve queries.
  • Maintain the preferred supplier list and help to monitor supplier performance.
  • Coordinate the application and order process, maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist in validating and checking charges before processing for payment.
  • Support internal teams with commercial queries and documentation.
  • Coordinate communications with wholesalers and maintain account records.
  • Schedule and support quarterly review meetings and follow-up actions.
  • Track pricing changes and assist with recommendations to manage cost increases.
  • Support with reviewing and updating rate cards and pricing information.
  • Track and monitor subcontractor and agency worker activity.
  • Coordinate and issue commercial certificates and reports.
  • Maintain and update the approved supplier and subcontractor listings.
  • Monitor cost and risk-related data and escalate issues where needed.

This is a hands-on, operational role ideal for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment - particularly within the electrical services or construction sector.

  • Experience with sub-contractor and wholesaler liaison and management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including excellent Excel skills
  • Flexible approach, ability to solve problems, and a strong team member
  • Customer and commercially focused with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Minimum of 2-4 years as a Commercial or Procurement Coordinator.
  • Experience with supplier T&Cs, SLAs and supporting service level improvements
  • Experience with Commercial Applications, Procurement and Finance processes
  • Degree qualified in a relevant subject or equivalent experience
  • Relevant industry experience within construction or electrical services
