As a Senior HR People Partner, you will be at the heart of the people experience, empowering leaders, supporting employees, and bringing HR initiatives to life in partnership with the COEs where they matter most. You will operationally execute HR responsibilities for the Electrification Software business in India across Hyderabad, Noida, and Bangalore, acting as an advisor to People Leaders and employees on local HR topics.
You will enable People Leaders to solve problems by leveraging central tools and HR standards, providing coaching for complex issues, and promoting an inclusive, safety‑first culture. Participation as the HR representative on local senior leadership teams will allow you to advise on HR matters.
Fostering a positive culture, you will embed GEV values in local HR initiatives, enhance engagement, and represent the employee voice by sharing insights and people data with HRBPs and People Leaders. You will guide employee requests through self‑service channels while educating staff on new ways of working.
Acting as the local HR expert, you will proactively manage employee‑relations issues, address everyday grievances, and collaborate with COEs to resolve sensitive matters such as corrective actions after investigations. Ensuring compliance with local regulations, laws, and policies, you will support People Leaders in effective decision‑making.
You will own the local employee experience by executing the workforce and talent agenda set by HR Business Partners, leading HR projects and change initiatives on the ground. Your role includes supporting People Leaders and employees across the talent lifecycle, introducing new culture and HR processes, and providing inputs that align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
Supporting employee engagement locally, you will serve as a liaison between employees and HRBPs, relay feedback, and help People Leaders implement engagement strategies. Coaching People Leaders to create an engaging work environment will be a key focus.
You will provide people leadership to multiple HR Partners within the region, aligning leadership to the GE Vernova People Leader Expectations and role‑modeling the GE Vernova Way principles to create conditions for employee success.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience in HR functions such as recruiting, training, compensation, benefits, employee development, or performance management. Desired characteristics are strong problem‑solving skills, independent decision‑making, expertise in local labor laws, detail‑orientation, strong organizational and documentation abilities, sound judgment, and a passion for innovative HR solutions.
