Act as an inter-office liaison for Pinchin’s ERA Practice, by conducting risk assessment feasibilities and assisting in data gap analyses, based on Phase II/Two site investigations
Prepare risk assessment reports and provide recommendations; activities may include data tabulation, data review, exposure modeling, reporting, intermediate quality reviews, editing
Financial responsibility for projects, preparation of proposals, reports and invoices
Participate in business development efforts with both new and existing clients
Assist in mentoring and training junior professional staff, as needed
Submit all work for quality review prior to submission to clients
Project management of risk assessment and/or soil vapour intrusion assessment projects and provide technical expertise on human health and ecological risk management
Maintain and enhance quality control within the group

Bachelor of Science Degree. Degree in biological sciences, toxicology or environmental studies is preferred
Availability to travel for work within the GTA region and between offices for team and client meetings. Occasional travel within other areas of Ontario may be required
Valid driver’s license required (work-related travel expenses will be compensated)
Must be familiar with O. Reg. 153/04, at a minimum. An understanding of other applicable Provincial or Federal environmental regulations is an asset
Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
Minimum 4 years’ experience in environmental consulting, including experience conducting complete risk assessments as well as indoor air and soil vapour intrusion assessments.
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Teams, Power Point and Outlook
Aptitude for reasoning and problem-solving
Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills
Experience conducting and coordinating soil vapour intrusion assessments is an asset
Ability to work both independently and in groups, as required for complex projects
