- Develop and deliver protection and control designs, including panel arrangements, AC/DC schematics, and equipment wiring.
- Prepare scopes, schedules, and budgets, ensuring that schedules and budgets are met.
- Work independently and supervise, mentor, or train Engineers-in-Training (EITs) and Designers.
- Develop and deliver physical substation designs, including yard layouts, plans, sections, grounding, lightning protection, control building arrangements, and power systems.
- Prepare equipment specifications for procurement and factory acceptance testing.
- Prepare electrical calculations for studies and reports, such as grounding and lighting protection.
- Coordinate design activities with departments like Civil/Structural and Transmission Line.
- Conduct quality assurance and quality control on the work of other engineers and technicians.
- Communicate and coordinate project activities with managers, clients, and other stakeholders.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, PLS CAD, AutoPipe, and Revit.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in project execution in the Power Delivery, Substation Sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design software used in the Power Market Sector.
- Experience with an engineering consulting firm.
- Electrical engineering knowledge with a focus on power delivery and protection & control.
- Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license preferred.
- Expertise in substation design and engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
