Facilities Manager | Aged-care Residential & Childcare

Description

• Overall facilities management of the portfolio, this includes reactive and preventative maintenance, and contracts management
• Oversee your own facilties portfolio, overseeing all aspects of maintenance, repairs and improvements
• Work closely with the National WHS Business Partner to ensure all premises within the portfolio maintain compliant to relevant state and territory WHS legislation
• Manage vendor relationships and contract for facilities services
• Prepare, develop and implement a Facilities Master Plan in line with the Business Services and organisations strategic plan
• Manage, develop, coach and lead a small team of direct reports in line with organisational frameworks

Requirements

• Appropriate tertiary or trade qualifications highly regarded
• An understanding of WHS (including fire safety and its implementation) in the workplace and its interpretation within a diverse nature of application
• Substantial experience managing a diverse range of assets ideally with aged care or healthcare exposure
• Proven leadership and communications skills
• A track record of managing stakeholder consultation
• Demonstrated working knowledge of Building Compliance codes and services
• Use of Aroflo
