

Operates UK’s Contracts for Difference and Capacity Market to support low‑carbon electricity investment.
During the 6-12 month internship, the Energy Analyst Intern will have the opportunity to work on the planning, development and operation of LCCC’s scheme forecasting models. The team works collaboratively with specialist teams where appropriate such as modelling, data engineering and project management. In addition to scheme forecasting the team directly supports other internal teams with analytical deep-dives and modelling required throughout the year, producing data insights that help the business make informed choices using the best available data and ultimately impact government policy.
WFH policy: Employees are required to attend the office 2 days/week
The ideal candidate for the Energy Analyst Internship will have an understanding of energy market fundamentals and will be able to demonstrate a high level of analytical competence. They will be required to take on complex challenges with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm, developing and communicating data insights in a clear and succinct way. Furthermore the candidate will be adaptable and curious, with a strong willingness to learn and develop.
