Performs interference checks for Control Systems' commodities within the 3D modeling software
Develops Control Systems design deliverables, such as Instrument Installation Details (IIDs), Instrument Location Drawings (derived from 3D model), Panel/Cabinet/Rack detail drawings, wiring diagrams, etc.
Assists in the development of work plans, estimates, budgets, and schedules for basic Control Systems designer tasks based on input and direction from discipline supervisor
Monitors and checks work for compliance with approved Control Systems design standards to provide quality design, reliable/safe operation and construction economy
Participates in constructability reviews
Works within Control Systems' databases (e.g., Instrument Index, I/O lists, etc.)
Coordinates the reviews for the accuracy of bulk material quantity take-offs and material requisitions for materials applicable to the Control Systems discipline
Generates 2D design drawings and/or 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) design models of high complexity with minimal guidance from others
Reviews and checks design models, drawings and design documents for quality, accuracy, neatness, functionality and satisfactory completion
Works with designers in other disciplines to coordinate overall design and technical requirements
