- Sets up, adjusts, and operates surveying equipment, including robotic total station, data collector, GPS equipment, grading and PCCP machine control.
- Maintains strict adherence to Company policies and procedures.
- Maintains field data records, survey project files, and importing/exporting staking files
- Proactively upholds all safety polices and standards.
- Prepares field notes and drawings; and performs field surveying for roadways, bridges, including installing surveying construction stakes and locating or establishing vertical and horizontal control.
- This position could be working on your own or overseeing a survey crew - the responsibilities could change depending on the assignment. **

- Good communication skills, both verbally and written.
- A minimum of 3 years of survey experience with a heavy Civil / Highway construction is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and MS Outlook Exchange is preferred but not mandatory.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with Trimble and Leica equipment is preferred but not mandatory.
