Western Power is hiring a Principal Organisational Design Specialist on a permanent basis to embed effective organisational design across the enterprise. Working closely with HR Business Partners and senior leaders, the specialist will lead operating‑model change, facilitate design reviews and provide evidence‑based advice to boost productivity and work design. The role also includes developing frameworks and tools that support leaders and HR partners.
The specialist will act as a trusted advisor on operating models, creating practical frameworks that raise design maturity and align culture. They will coach HR Business Partners and leaders, build organisational‑design capability, and lead diagnostics that translate insights into high‑impact interventions. Workshops, coaching sessions and governance activities will be used to embed and sustain improvements.

- Build organisational‑design capability across HR Business Partners, leaders and teams through coaching and knowledge transfer.

- Facilitate engaging workshops, coaching and culture‑shaping sessions to embed and sustain design improvements.
- Partner with senior leaders to co‑create and deliver design solutions that support transformation and future ways of working.
- Evaluate the impact of design and change initiatives using data and feedback to ensure realised and sustained benefits.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience leading organisational‑design initiatives in large, complex organisations and deep knowledge of modern work‑design concepts. They have a proven track record of reshaping operating models, developing frameworks, and coaching others to build capability. Strong facilitation, consulting, data‑driven decision‑making and inclusive communication skills are essential.
