Paging Technician

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair paging systems, including amplifiers, speakers, and associated wiring.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site daily; ensure quality and workmanship at every phase.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with customers and onsite personnel, representing the company with integrity.
• Ensure all work aligns with project specifications, timelines, and safety requirements.
• Perform regular maintenance and servicing of paging systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Submit detailed daily reports outlining job progress and work completed.
• Work both indoors and outdoors, handling installations and wiring in various environments.
• Survey locations for new system installations and assess existing systems for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to paging systems, including audio quality, signal interference, and system failures.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Paging Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of paging systems across a variety of environments. You will work alongside other technicians, lead techs, and project managers to ensure all work meets the highest quality standards. We’re looking for candidates with a strong background in paging systems, who take pride in their craftsmanship and are capable of working independently in fast-paced environments.

• Minimum 4 years of full-time, hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, or repair of paging systems.
• Valid NYS (or equivalent) Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to run, terminate, and tone cables, and use a voltmeter.
• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and perform tasks involving bending, crouching, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
• Professional demeanor, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities with paging systems.
• Basic network and computer skills for system programming.
