Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to electrical systems to determine the layout of the electrical systems, as well as customer needs.
Actively participate in training programs and apprenticeship classes to develop skills and knowledge.
Work a 40-hour work week, overtime as required and night shifts when applicable.
Learn to use and maintain electrical tools and equipment properly.
Operate and work from mechanical personnel lifts, electric or gas powered.
Ensure compliance with travel policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of work at different locations.
Help install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, conduits, lighting, and control systems.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Travel 60-70% to various data center locations or project sites as required.
Operate company vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions of less than 26,000 GVW.
Utilize appropriate tools and equipment for electrical work, ensuring they are maintained in good condition.
Assist in keeping work areas clean and organized.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
Work closely with journeyman electricians and other team members to complete tasks.
Assist in preparing reports on project status as required.
Perform basic tasks such as pulling wire, drilling holes, and mounting electrical boxes under supervision.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project status and any issues that arise.
Study and follow blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Report any unsafe conditions or practices to supervisors immediately.
Operate two-handed tools/equipment, cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, jack hammers, and any other tools associated with the electrical industry.
Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including tasks completed and materials used.

Basic understanding of electrical principles and concepts in accordance with local and national codes.
Basic knowledge of the use of power tools, saws, threaders, wire tuggers, knock punches, and any tools associated with the electrical industry.
High School degree or GED required.
Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
Accountability: Ability to hold self and others to the highest of standards.
Must be at a minimum of 18 years of age.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Additional certifications (OSHA, NFPA 70E, etc) are a plus.
Ability to self-motivate and manage assigned workflow in both independent and team settings.
Speed: Operates with a sense of urgency, recognizing the competitive advantage of being swift and responsive.
Judgement: Ability to exercise discretion and lead initiatives autonomously.
Basic knowledge of how to bend conduits using hand benders, mechanical benders, or hydraulic benders.
Have and maintain a current, valid, and in good standing Driver’s License that will meet the requirements of our insurance company to drive company vehicles.
Enrolled in a certified apprenticeship or qualifying program (as required by state laws).
