Low Voltage Technician

• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system schematics
• Train and mentor junior technicians as needed
• Install, program, test, service, and certify electronic low voltage systems including:
• Coordinate tools, materials, and site safety for assigned projects
• Troubleshoot system issues and perform maintenance to ensure peak performance
• Maintain accurate documentation and system logs
• Interface with customers and general contractors to ensure satisfaction and timely project delivery

We’re seeking a Lead Low Voltage Technician with expertise in access control, CCTV, and integrated low voltage systems. This role focuses on installation, service, troubleshooting, and project oversight of electronic safety and security systems in commercial environments.

• EST3 / EST IO64 / IO1000 / Firelite ES-50X (preferred)
• High school diploma or GED required
• CCTV systems (IP/analog)
• Intercom, voice/data, nurse call, and sound systems
• Comfortable with system programming tools and computer-based configuration
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently or as part of a crew
• OSHA 30, BICSI Installer 2, Panduit, Hubbell, Lenel, Genetec (preferred)
• 4+ years of hands-on low voltage installation/service experience
• NICET Level I certification or ability to obtain
• Familiarity with access control hardware/software, CCTV/IP video, and security panel programming
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
