The engineer will design service-oriented architectures, develop REST/gRPC, GraphQL, and event-driven APIs, and ensure data security, compliance, and role-based access control. - Design and implement service-oriented architectures exposing data via APIs and reusable services.
- Develop REST/gRPC, GraphQL, and event-driven services for real-time and batch data consumption.
- Ensure data security, compliance, and role-based access control across all services.
- Optimize service performance for low-latency use cases such as dynamic scheduling and predictive maintenance.
- Manage API lifecycle, including versioning, monitoring, and documentation.
- Drive adoption of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and observability tools.
- Mentor engineers on API design, microservices architecture, and DevOps automation.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and have 12–15 years of software engineering experience, including at least five years in platform or integration-focused roles. Proven expertise in API development, microservices architecture, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), container orchestration, data integration patterns, and messaging systems is essential. Proficiency in Java, Python, or Node.js, as well as experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code, are also required.
Preferred experience includes data virtualization, semantic layers for enterprise analytics, API security standards such as OAuth2 and JWT, and familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana. Knowledge of OpenUSD and Omniverse integration for simulation-driven data services, as well as contributions to open-source projects or publications in Platform Engineering or Industry 4.0, are advantageous.
