The Fleet Coordinator manages daily operations of the company’s vehicle fleet, ensuring safety compliance, contractual obligations, and performance KPIs are met. The role focuses on efficient scheduling, maintenance coordination, vendor communication, and accurate record‑keeping while supporting cost‑control initiatives and internal customer service.
- Coordinate vehicle orders and replacements according to approved fleet plans
- Schedule maintenance, repairs, and deliveries with vendors and service providers
- Maintain accurate fleet records including assignments, mileage, maintenance history, and compliance documentation
- Monitor and schedule preventative maintenance and DOT inspections
- Track and report fleet activity such as maintenance status, renewals, and retirements
- Provide budgeting support with historical expense data and ongoing cost monitoring
- Analyze telematics and safety data to improve driver behavior and compliance
- Enforce safety standards and promote a zero‑incident culture
- Manage inventory of vehicle equipment, fuel cards, and supplies
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve fleet‑related issues quickly
- Communicate with fleet partners to ensure service quality and handle escalations
- Assist with onboarding new vehicles, mobilization across locations, and prepare routine fleet reports

Physical demands include occasional lifting of up to 50 lb, walking, standing, and the use of personal protective equipment in environments that may contain high‑voltage AC/DC power.
