Develops field organization and construction equipment plans, with the assistance of the construction support groups.
Interfaces with other coordinators and construction engineering groups to develop the most economical construction methods and techniques.
Coordinates project contractual activities and participates in the development of contract, subcontract, or vendor scopes of work, budgets, contract formation, and negotiations.
Oversees the total site management of the Siteworks scope of works, including supervision of construction craft personnel, field engineering, contract administration, cost and schedule, field procurement, finance and accounting services, and craft resource personnel as applicable.
Follows design development and, where possible, suggests economical construction details to be incorporated into design drawings and specifications.
Participates in the preparation and review of construction cost estimates, budgets, forecasts, and schedules.
Plans and establishes procedures to ensure construction operations meet engineering designs and specifications.
Oversees jobsite expenditures for labor equipment, material and services, and ensures field operations are within budget.
Develops supply chain packaging and management plan for the project in collaboration with engineering, design sub-consultant, and procurement functions.
Reviews and facilitates the logistics plans.
Ensures that all State and Federal safety codes, requirements, and standards are being complied with.
Maintains awareness of any major quantity changes due to design evolution or scope change.
Establishes project field procedures and objectives within corporate policies and procedures as necessitated by conditions at a jobsite.
Uses individual knowledge and familiarity with the assigned job as well as past experience, with assistance from the construction support groups, to identify potential problem areas or trends.
Participates in meetings with project team members, other Bechtel entities, and client personnel as required.

Extensive experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams (including subconsultant), consisting of geotechnical, civil, structural, seismic, process, mechanical, electrical, environmental, risk engineers in support of project execution.
Requires bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 13-15 years of relevant experience or 17-19 years of relevant work experience.
Has demonstrated experience and thorough knowledge in construction of large-scale highly regulated industrial projects.
Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and exercise professional judgment, with a passion to take ownership of projects and provide sound technical leadership to contractor’s staff and field engineers.
Advanced knowledge of Industry Construction methods and procedures.
Has demonstrated experience of construction planning, constructability reviews, supporting project proposal activities.
Site construction management experience.
Demonstrated safety record.
Knowledge and experience in the implementation of ES&H and quality management systems.
Advanced knowledge of environmental, safety, and health in construction.
