Effective communication with all plant personnel is essential to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals. The supervisor will provide daily task direction to production team members and ensure departmental production demands are satisfied.
Daily problem‑solving, including engineering and quality issues, is a core responsibility, as is fostering a safe, engaged, and inclusive work culture by enforcing PPE usage and equipment policies. The role also involves maintaining positive employee relations, acting as the primary liaison for management on production matters, and supporting employee assessment, training, coaching, and development to drive strong performance.
The supervisor will manage time records using Kronos to monitor team productivity and work performance. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (or ten years of manufacturing experience with a high school diploma), at least three years of experience supporting data‑center, manufacturing, operations, or engineering processes, and proven problem‑solving and continuous‑improvement skills such as Six Sigma, 5S, and A3.
Physical demands include regular standing, walking, sitting, reaching above shoulder level, gripping, and handling objects, with frequent lifting or carrying of up to 35 lb and pushing/pulling of 35 lb or more. The position also requires adequate far and close vision with depth perception and color discrimination, and regular communication throughout the workday. Candidates must reside within a 50‑mile radius of the work location (military personnel exempt); no relocation assistance is provided.
