You will design and implement complex control system solutions, develop software modules, and create detailed hardware designs for new production and experimental test facilities. The position also includes problem‑solving during integration testing, supporting commissioning teams, preparing technical reports, and providing technical support to the supply chain while managing project cost and schedule.
The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with industrial control systems and IT/OT networks, preferably in manufacturing or the nuclear sector, and familiarity with Rockwell/Allen‑Bradley platforms. Required skills include specifying and designing control hardware, using change/configuration management tools, and proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD Electrical or E‑Plan, together with knowledge of relevant IEC standards.
A degree or equivalent professional accreditation in Controls, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or Software is required, along with membership of a professional engineering institution and progression toward Chartered status.
