Senior Process Engineer

Description

• Implement predictive and preventive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime.
• Cutting-Edge Tools: Work with predictive and preventive technologies to keep operations running at peak performance.
• Ownership & Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, manage projects from start to finish, and influence key decisions that shape our operations.
• Manage capital and expense projects from concept through execution.
• Strategic Role: Play a critical part in budgeting, planning, and implementing long-term process improvements that directly impact plant success.
• Hands-On Impact: You’ll be on the floor, actively supporting teams and driving real improvements in reliability and machine efficiency.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and develop long-term solutions for critical issues.
• Lead process and equipment reliability improvements to meet plant goals.
• Continuous Learning: Stay current with best practices and collaborate with our Center of Excellence
• Monitor key performance metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Partner with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to solve complex challenges.
• Stay ahead of industry best practices and introduce new technologies to enhance reliability.

Requirements

• Operational knowledge regarding process, equipment capability, practices, systems.
• Working knowledge of PLC systems.
• 3+ years of process engineering experience in a metals manufacturing environment OR 5 years of process engineering experience
• Working knowledge of Casting, Rolling, and Finishing Technology (as appropriate by area) preferred
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems preferred
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
• 5-10+ years of engineering experience
• Computer skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Power BI)
• Proficient with AutoCAD or similar CAD software
• Strong mechanical/electrical and process aptitude preferred
• Able to work flexible hours as required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects/assignments concurrently and be results oriented.
• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with individuals and teams at all levels of the organization.
