Description

The position is a fixed‑location fire‑extinguisher service technician role with no travel required. The incumbent will be responsible for servicing and maintaining fire extinguishers, ensuring the work area remains organized and clean, and adhering to professional standards while on the job.

Daily tasks include recharging, testing, and performing six‑ and twelve‑year inspections on extinguishers, completing the necessary documentation and inspection tags, and conducting preventative maintenance on shop test equipment. The employee will also use hand tools, lift up to 50 lb, wear required personal protective equipment, and attend periodic business meetings to support company growth.

• Service and maintain fire extinguishers, including recharging, testing, and six‑ and twelve‑year inspections

Requirements

Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to operate hand tools, and the physical capacity to lift and carry 50 lb. They must be able to pass a licensing test (training provided), drug screening, background check, and have a clean driving record with a valid driver’s license. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, while previous experience is not required.
