We are seeking a highly organised and detail oriented Planning and Logistics Coordinator to oversee the efficient movement of equipment, services, and resources across the business. This role plays a key part in ensuring effective planning and timely delivery of services to meet both customer and operational requirements.
Monitor and manage costs to support effective cost control
Adhere to company systems and procedures, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Process hire contracts and associated documentation, including on-hire and off-hire procedures
Act as a primary point of contact for customers, ensuring all communications are handled efficiently, professionally, and courteously
Plan, schedule, and optimise the allocation of resources and equipment
Ensure all necessary documentation, including certificates, training and legal requirements are met and maintained in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
Coordinate all movements, including service teams, transport and suppliers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in planning, transport logistics, or a similar coordination role (preferred)
Forward-thinking and solution-focused approach
The ideal candidate will be a strong multitasker with exceptional organisational skills including attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset.
Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively as part of a small team
Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
Customer-focused mindset at all times
Experience with MRP systems and stock management is desirable
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
