Manage subcontractor performance to meet commercial, service and compliance requirements, including key areas such as gas safety
Provide leadership in health, safety and environmental management across all operational activities
Drive productivity, innovation, continuous improvement, and new working practices
Monitor KPIs, SPIs, compliance and cost control
Ensure a high-quality customer experience, embedding customer-first values
Review business performance regularly to ensure P&L delivery meets or exceeds targets
Oversee contract administration, procurement, pricing, risk management and regulatory compliance
Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
Ensure adherence to legislation and work closely with Group HSE teams to maintain a strong safety culture.
Mobilise new contracts effectively, ensuring alignment with Group strategy and local plans
Lead all operational and commercial activities to deliver contracts and services on time, within budget, and to the highest standards

Experience within social housing or local authority environments
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and influencing skills
Strong analytical capability to drive operational and financial improvements
Deep understanding of repairs, maintenance, compliance and investment works
Robust knowledge of health and safety regulations
Ability to manage diverse teams and large subcontractor groups
Holds a full clean driving licence
Strong commercial acumen with contract knowledge
Construction-related qualifications (Degree, CIOB, RICS, IOSH or NEBOSH)
Senior operational leadership experience in repairs, maintenance or construction
