The role, reporting to the Manager, Accounting, AP, AR & Other Assets – GBS, ensures correct US GAAP treatment for accounts payable, accounts receivable and other asset‑related categories. It supports forecasts, budgets and analysis, maximises the use of Oracle and BlackLine, and guarantees adherence to AECOM policies, SOX narratives and controls.
- Ensure accurate month‑end close, flux analysis, and FX revaluation for AP, AR and other asset categories.
- Prepare and approve complex monthly reconciliations, journal entries, and sub‑ledger clearing accounts.
- Resolve discrepancies by liaising with Source‑to‑Pay (S2P) and Order‑to‑Cash (O2C) teams.
- Assist in drafting 10K/10Q and statutory disclosures for multiple legal entities.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to meet regulatory and SOX compliance.
- Participate in self‑testing to identify and remediate control gaps.
- Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies with S2P and O2C.
- Optimize Oracle and BlackLine usage and evaluate new technology opportunities.
- Deliver on internal KPIs and customer‑focused SLAs for general accounting services.
- Lead change, influence stakeholders and foster innovation.
- Analyze data, develop recommendations and solve complex problems.
- Collaborate across global teams and communicate effectively with diverse customers.
- Pursue continuous learning and improve processes, tools and mindsets.
- Provide strong customer service and maintain high‑quality relationships.
- Plan, organize and meet service delivery agreements, KPIs and policies.

- Proven success working in cross‑cultural, virtual team environments.
