What you would be doing
yield tracking

Track total product from start to finish, including recovery, total yield, and quantities per each processing step.
Utilize large-scale fermenting instrumentation and equipment.
Operate the CIP system for sanitation and processing.
Perform simple testing on in-process and finished product samples using instruments such as GC/HPLC, Karl-Fisher, optical density, pH, and microscope for counts/possible contamination.
Apply aseptic technique on a daily basis.
Conduct sterilization, inoculation, and product recovery as needed.
Utilize the SAP system.
Follow specific work instructions and batch records to scale up microbes.
Maintain production, analytical, and quality documentation.
Perform media and microbial solution preparation.
What you bring

Degree or exp in Biology, Microbiology, or Fermentation is advantageous.
Experience in food, manufacturing, fermentation, or as a chemical operator.
Proficiency in basic lab testing on microbial solutions.
Familiarity with chemicals, SOP, and CIP systems.
Experience or understanding of aseptic techniques.
Ability to operate fermentation equipment and understand the fermentation process.
